  1. What's there to talk about? He's a tough guy, but other people have been stabbed and took it similar as well. ;)
  2. By the way, another small piece of what I like in how they made the series is a very small gimmick most people probably haven't noticed. During opening credits, all the mentioned actors have the crest of the house they belong to in the series beside them, not to mention that I find it clever to alter the opening every week to roughly show where the main characters are on the map.
  3. You mean Robert could have recognized that he should start raising "his" kids, instead of letting Cersei do the job. I know every mother loves her child, but I never get why she was actually proud of Joffrey and liked him more than the other children.
  4. That reminds me that I have to place a pre-order on the new Volume.
  5. Hahaha, actually during my reread of Volume 2 I skipped Theons chapters too. They are not that exiciting and he is annoying as hell. @Rome Yes, still she could have supported her sister. Worst decision of her life to not do so, as she had no influence on later events.
  6. Which we all allready knew. :D I still don't know how she missed those character traits during the episode where Aryas wolf bit him. :D @4_4 Strange way indeed, but okay. Whatever works for you. :D
  7. lol, rest assured that Joffrey will do something about her dreaming or rather he already did something, he killed her father allthough she pledged for his life remember? Not something her dreamprince in shining armor would do.
  8. Living alone in a hostile court....., wait why do I find myself defending Sansa all the time these days?:rofl:
  9. I know your problem though, most of the time I have it too. :D Back again for Arya once more, who is one of my favorites too and when I watched this trailer: months ago Maisie Williams forever claimed the spot in my heart, which was reserved fopr Arya. :D She is soo perfect for this role.
  10. Sorry dude, but rest assured it's a really minor fact. ;) This time, but I try to not use it again soon. :D I just had to vent some air. @4_4 You have read everything too, haven't you?
  11. Well who knows what will happen to them, as the series isn't over yet. [spoiler=minor spoiler]So far both girls are alive though.
  12. Feel free to pm anytime on anything about the series. ;) I have time and love to talk about it and see others reactions to several events in future Volumes. As you might get from Neds death your in for a rough ride at times.
  13. I hate your guts Phil,do you know how hard it is for me not to comment that and spoil everything to you. :D
  14. Same here and I hate it when they change layouts and other styleelements of the books during a series. Robert Jordans "Wheel of time" has 33 volumes in it's german version and they changed the publisher twice and layouts 4 or 5 times over the years. It looks totally ridiculous.
  15. Yeah and just like always she was hated by most of the women in the class with passion. Gotta love the irony of a feminist being hated by women. :D But back to topic. :D
  16. Well, here is hope that she only tried to scare us, that women was a bit crazy anyway. One day she pointed us three lone guys in a class of 18 and said to the girls: "These poor fellows have to think about sex every 7 seconds."
  17. Well as far as I know US-Paperback is shitty quality, compared to our Paperback. One of my teachers during off the job training back when I started working as a bookseller once told us in class, that many americans remember at which point they are in a Paperback by ripping out the pages they already read and throwing them away. That was like a horror-story to us. :D
  18. I started re-reading from Volume 2, won't keep me occupied for a year though. Well I've got to much time...
  19. Yeah bute after that it will be a year of waiting for season two again :(
  20. The speech was more about knowing how Jon feels I think. At least it was in the book, cause allthough he somewhat regreted his own decision he did hold his oath and in the end that's what expected from Jon too. By the way, with Robb being the son of his father, Jon can't be sure he wouldn't be executed as a deserter, half-brother or not. ;)
  21. Hahaha, I love it. This series needs more hitting of Joffrey. Arrogant bastard fool.
  22. I don't remember well how he fought in that first battle, but later he rode into battle. Not much of a stretch letting a lord fight from horseback, even if he is a dwarf.
  23. If there is any more proof he is an insane asshole: *minor spoiler* He orders his knights to beat up Sansa regularly. Propaply why he wanted Ser Barristan gone (the old knight of the kings guard), cause that man would have had to much honor to allow this.
