yes, this is the last season. aviator has gone to shit. hopefully we'll move to NJ this summer (if we ever find a house we want) and he'll play for one of the local organizations. if not, we'll go to Abe Stark Stars. This is how bad Aviator is.

no, they're in queens? the only other organization in Brooklyn is Abe Stark and it looks like we'll be playing for them next season. they're terrible from what I hear but will have no other choice since they're the only closest AA organization.

fuck em. I hate it and was against it since there were talks about it.

our organization "aviator" got a tier I status this season. so our AA squirt team automatically moved up to play the AAA league that only has like 5 other teams. this sucks ass and not only because we're going to get blown out every league game but the stupid travel too. we'll be spending more time driving than playing. I fucking hate it

Our tryouts start next week. Last year in was towards the middle of april

'05. Not sure where they came from or if they were on the roster before Jan 1st. U can put anyone in anyone's jersey, so going by names could be fishy. These kids, defensemen scored 3 goals and totally shut down our team. I think we had 2 or 3 chances all game and scored on one of them. Its all very fishy

Mike, check this out. We make the semis as a second seed in LIAHL, so we're playing the Gulls who we beat couple of months before. They brought in two defensmen for the playoffs that were clearly not there when we played them and were definitely not A level. Other parents from the other semis that came to see us play also said they never saw those players before. Anyway, we lost to them 6-1 i think and they won the championship. I know one parent on the gulls from last year, so I asked him if they fucked with the rosters and he obviously denied it. Im fucking pissed as hell for our kids who did so well during the season. I wish that someone could investigate.

No, didn't get a chance. Watched a couple of bantam games, they were at about the same time as us. Good hockey

Yeah, it had a watermark, a huge game room, casino attached, bunch of restUrants, etc. It was lots of fun even though we lost all the games :). Cold as shit so we stayed indoors most of the time. People who drove really regretted it. Many got stuck in snowstorms around Syracuse and/or Buffalo. We flew and had no problems. Great experience for the kids, possibly once in a lifetime. There were over 70 teams all over NA and all hockey facilities we played at were top notch. Canada has awesome rinks. I wonder if they are privately owned or gov't built. Level of hockey was also much better than what we're used to around here. Overall, awesome times

its the growth thing, right? a friend's kid is going thru the same thing right now. as far as I understood it, the growth of muscles in the legs are not keeping up with the growth of bone. or something like that.
