Oh yeah! The minor league coaching staff & some sort of asst. GM made it happen. The players actually giving it a full 60 minute effort, an over-the-top performance by #93, the Flyers horrid defense, goaltending and not showing up for the entire game, had nada to do with this victory. Typical nonsensical yapping from the usual naysayers, doom & gloomers and moaners and groaners.

Uh, the NYR lost in typical fashion. Can't put 2 great efforts together consecutively. You gotta laff or you'll cry. Looks like it's back to the drawing board. Only positive was the overturning of the goal by Hayes. Imagine if this team could perfect their game in the same way. Crappy ending on a crappy play. So be it in Rangerland.

Yeah thats not really true. There were 3 fights in the game against Capitals, today Kreider dropped the gloves against a scrub.

Its strange that the best players so far are players that's not known Quinn for more than a couple of months (Blackwell, Rooney, Miller).

They're not bailing on him because of his politics. It's a cop out to suggest as much. If they didn't want MAGA supporters in the room they'd be running Lemieux out of town, too. And likely others. The NHL, by and large, is a very pro-Trump league.

 

They're bailing on him because he's a toxic, shit heel of a person who just fought a team mate, and pouted, again, when he was scratched, again. It's a collection of bad radios and behaviors that's simply not outweighed by whatever offense he brings -- especially when that offense is nonexistent this season.

When you add all the behavior up, he's a headache no one wants to deal with.

 

I guess the question could be framed as, if he's a big enough asshole for smart hockey people to give him away for nothing, why is anyone defending him?

 

 

Better yet. Why did the NYR sign him to a 2 yr. deal in the first place, if he is such a problem? Oh, the threat of arbitration.

Terrible loss. Pathetic is hardly the adjective to describe this game. No toughness; mental OR physical. A disgraceful performance all around.
