It's a unique situation for everybody in the league this year. We've been very fortunate so far, avoiding a situation they're in and Philly for that matter. But we expect they're going to have a lineup that's hungry to go."

— David Quinn How to Win FREE COVID:
CBrowningPI
Devils are 31st on the penalty kill and just as bad as the Rangers on faceoffs. I would think this is a must win game and a great chance to jumpstart the offensive production.
Ozzy
Yup, I'm with you Browny!! Let's see some shots on goal, some rebounds and some forwards going to the net. I'm actually going to count how many times I say "shoot it!" tonight. The over/under if you're betting, is 20!
4EverRangerFrank
...and just as bad as the Rangers on faceoffs. Once they drop the puck, somebody has to win the faceoff, right? I can see both centers standing there scrambling their sticks against each other and the puck not moving. Oh to be a Rangers fan!
Sharpshooter
I feel like they haven't won a faceoff since about 2016. Maybe Stepan was the last to do it.

Long live the King
What's Dominic Moore up to these days? If Drury won't get out of the office to coach these guys up, than bring Moore in for a faceoff clinic.
Zuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuc
A must win game as favourites against a Covid-struck Devils team? Yeah, there?s no way they win this game. 4-1 loss incoming. Sod16
Craig McTavish is the perfect choice for when linesman Kevin Collins does everything he can to stop you from finally winning the cup and gives them a last faceoff in your end. McT would be a bargain. No need to buy a helmet and he's willing to have the adverts put on his head.
Ozzy
I'm thinking the Devils come out hot tonight after the long layoff. If the Rangers can withstand the first 20 minutes, I think we'll take these guys. Buffalo after their 14 day layoff, came out flying against the Islanders last night and then shit the bed in the 3rd. Buffalo didn't even record a shot on goal, and they were down 3-1. I can see the same thing happening with the Devils...It would be awesome to get the jump on these guys and score a couple early ones.
ThirtyONE
Rangers are a lottery team without Panarin and Mika (who may as well be out of the lineup). So, I think I'm ready to stop caring if they win games. So long as the young players look good, I'll be satisfied.

Pull up a chair and pour yourself a drink! I love watching us win, don't get me wrong....but I think that's going to happen more towards the end of the season.
Karan
Feels like one of those games where if it's a narrow win for the Rangers it'll feel like meh, they just beat a team with COVID hangover. It would need to be a convincing win to really feel good about it. If it's a loss, yea all hell is going to break loose.
Pete
I hope they win because I can't keep reading the Quinn complaining in every thread. Not that a win would stop that...so yea, I don't care what happens here LOL.

Not that a win would stop that...so yea, I don't care what happens here LOL. Wouldn't a loss be better in that case? As it would mean one step closer to not hearing anymore complaints about Quinn and one step closer to him being fired (assuming that top management would seriously start to look at a mid-season coaching change if they continue to lose). A win definitely won't stop the complaining as you said lol

A win definitely won't stop the complaining as you said lolI don't think he's getting fired this season, regardless of outcome. There are too many variables. Zib having a bad season nothing to do with Quinn, COVID, no camp. Kakko and Fox look better, Key looks good. Quinn will get credit for all that. Think of how long it usually takes a coach to get fired after fans complain. It's over a year. Realistically, next season is the year he feels the heat, IMO.

Dunny
Kakko has gone from a total scrub to "Hey this guy might score 20 someday" his improvement is relative. He's still awful.
