QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

[table=width: 630, align: center]

[tr]

[td=align: center]

"I think they're very committed. I think they feel that they have an opportunity to make the playoffs and they need to play well throughout the final stretch I think there's also some belief they can play like they did the second half last year when they went on quite a roll."

We got this right???

-Buffalo currently has a nice LONG losing streak....

-We're coming off a great win against a very tough team....

-Mika seems to have found that spark....

-Buffalo's backup goalie is playing....

-Eichel is out of the lineup....

Oh yeah, it all adds up!!! :rofl:

Buffalo didnt play this weekend due to COVID.

And, according to the radio, they might be starting their ECHL goalie?

Uh oh! :rofl:

Nah, I have to turn the page on all that old vibe crap from days of yesteryear.

New time/New team/New Vibe!

We win this one going away tonight, Josh man!! I hope they fill the freakin' net with 8 or 9 again!!

This was on the Sabres' website in their pregame report:

On Friday, the team signed goaltender Michael Houser, who had been on an AHL deal with the Rochester Americans, to a one-year NHL contract. Then on Saturday, the team acquired a sixth-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft in exchange for goaltender Jonas Johansson.

Carter Hutton and Dustin Tokarski are the goalies currently on the active roster. Tokarski signed a two-year deal with Buffalo during the offseason.

Goaltender Linus Ullmark, who sustained a lower-body injury during the team's game on February 25, is expected to join the team during the road trip.

The feed from the morning skate was not working today. We're told that Howden did not skate and is out tonight. Gauthier will play. Igor skated but Kinkaid will play tonight and Georgiev will back up. Kravtsov could practice tomorrow, if his cardiac screening turns out OK.

I love being a Rangers fan. Never short of entertainment. Team is about to play the worst team in the NHL (by a wide margin) who are apparently starting a 4th string goalie. And yet from the nerves in this thread you'd think they were playing a back-to-back Cup champion on a 10 game winning streak.

Truth. I was less nervous playing the Capitals these last two games. lol

And hopefully for an eternity after that.

If we ended up 4-1 and then 1-4 when he comes back............

But in realitiy Quinn still calls the shots, just game management he has less control right now and cant tell in the players ears as easily so we shall see.
