Freefallin' back to earth this team is
Granted, they did somehow manage to maintain a decent sized lead in their division with two key pieces out long-term. Still sucks to watch them crash and burn
I think Sam or someone mentioned during the broadcast that he's trimmed some weight and made other adjustments ostensibly so that he can finally stick in the NHL. So it makes sense that he's been more effective this go-around.
If he keeps this up I'm sure they can find a spot for him somewhere. If he doesn't than at minimum he's already helped us win two games and will be a solid option in case of injury
Gustaffson has been a low key great addition. Finally have someone besides from Fox who can move the puck up the ice
Downside is I keep mistaking him for Lindgren with that #. Until of course he does anything even remotely non-rudimentary with the puck
Biggest choke job in a long, long while. Really showed the Rangers true colors, unfortunately
I'm pretty confident we ain't winning shit with this core. And I'm also pretty confident they will keep trying and wasting our time
Devils still have a ways to go. Hughes is a beast but their secondary players leave a lot to be desired. A solid system got them pretty far but they don't yet have the horses to compete.
On another note, I'm so damn glad we didn't trade our cupboard for Meier
Devils take an early 2-0 lead. Who would've thought....
Meier gets his 1st point this postseason. Holy shit, I didn't realize he's been THAT useless. His point to penalty minute ratio is currently 1:20
