Those stats are about as relevant as Carolina xGF%. It's a ridiculous point you're trying to prove. "Hey, we don't know why the record is better, but the record is better!" It's baseless. I like him, I want him to play, I'm glad they win when he's in the lineup, but to act like he's the reason they win It's just so far from reality that I don't even know where to begin.

Nobody on Carolina is scared of him, because nobody is going to fight him. Their defense certainly isn't scared of him, and the refs have a Target on him. Brindamour said in his post game that this was the best game the Rangers played all series. So that just goes to show you what the opposition thinks of a Rempe-less lineup. I swear, I think some posters here just get a hard-on watching him sit on the bench and do nothing for 90% of the game.

They looked like ass in the Stadium Series where he played! They needed a 3P comeback and PPs to win! What did he have to do with that after his one fight in the opening minutes where they then proceeded to start losing? The record is smoke and mirrors man.

You know I've said this forever so I agree. I went and looked at his game log and it's littered with wins against CBJ, PHI, NYI, NJ, STL, MTL, OTT...These are not good teams. Look man if Canes fans were on this forum and saw us arguing over how a 5:00 4th liner was the key to winning...Come on man. Let's be real. Rangers record before Rempe was .676. After it was .704, and that's with Rempe sitting some. That's not a discernable difference.

With all due respect, it's not difficult to explain. It's a small sample size of coincidence. Nobody can point directly to what he does, and we all know that he barely plays and gets kicked out of some of the games we won when he "dressed". More than likely it's that he dresses against teams that aren't that good and doesn't dress against better teams, hence the record. I'm not gonna go back and look though. Maybe later.

And that's all a nice little side story, but the fact is the team doesn't need a fourth line grinder to win games. It's not that complicated.

Oh yeah I'm not linking anything. Trouba has sucked for a long time. Gus was great for like 3 months and then he got bad, and then he got even worse after his injury. Suck as individual and suck worse as a pair. Jones should be in there. But goals and loses are rarely on one guy. At the same time the tweet that was posted is not a coincidence...Trouba sucks.

So yet again you don't have a specific answer. By what specific metric did the hurricanes dominate the first period? And what does that have to do with the rest of the game? You're telling me to learn hockey, you think a fourth line scrub is the reason we lost the one goal game. Please, teach me about hockey. Put your knowledge on display for all of us to learn. And then when you're done, you can let us know if you are Rempe Dad, or his Agent.

Is playing him the reason they lost? Maybe maybe not. Does he stink? Yes.

He doesn't refuse...he can't. He sucks. Been that way since he got here. He's never been good.
