I don't think we can buy that it's purely coincidence.... The perfect Storm of turnovers only happening when he's on the ice? Sure, I'm sure some of it is due to poor team defensive play, goals are really one person's fault, but that many goals? It's also corroborated by the eyeball test and the fact that his partner also sucks. Is it solely on Trouba? Maybe, maybe not. But his play has gone steadily downhill which is the reason he was moved to the third pair to begin with. My guess is, he's still feeling the effects of whatever injury he had. Even his timing on hits has been poor, even for him.

There are points in the game where momentum will shift and the crowd will be at a lull. This happens everywhere. I don't understand why you're trying to knock the crowd, but whatever.

I don't really understand why any players are scared of Florida. They don't have anyone who will actually fight except for maybe Lomberg. Bennett won't, Tkachuk Will only fight when he knows he can win and we have an answer for that, Cousins won't... They want to swing their sticks, just swing your stick back. However I'm not exactly sure that what you're saying about them being the best pair all playoffs according to the analytics... That said, it doesn't matter what they were last week. It only matters what they are today, and today they are a liability. I know they aren't going to sit Trouba, But Jones' mobility and ability to beat the forecheck needs to be considered at this point as an upgrade on Gus. Gus has been shaky at best since he returned from his injury. I'm hoping Chytil is ready or Rempe dresses and is able to get the crowd into it. Frankly I think the home crowd seeing Chytil will have the same effect, so either one of them will do fine.

I'd love for the next series to start with Rempe pounding Bennett's face in just to set the tone. Bennett is no better than Cousins, just sneakier.
