i don't think bread has been locked in yet. he's come through no doubt - but i could see him having potential to dominate if he really clicks in. hopefully this last one really loosens him up.

this couldve been the rangers most impressive game of the season for me. this was a game the canes shouldve been dominating throughout, and the rangers just patiently stuck with it, grinded and let the momentum shift back in their direction. only caveat is that they couldnt close it out on the pp with 10 min left, or take a shot for the empty net before the canes tied it up. that was a bit frustrating.

now time to place a foot on Carolinas throat in game 3

its possible us ranger fans are traumatized by a lot of the pathetic play in our last three playoff appearances...but those could very well be attributed to horrendous coaching

props to Lavi and the team kicking ass all regular season long to put themselves in a position to play the washington scrubs in round 1.

Wow - those other 3 series are lookin like dogfights. Hopefully we make quick work of the caps, but then you also hope were ready to step it up a notch for our own dogfight.

Playing Tampa in round 1 might actually be the one thing that wakes this team the f' up.

I'd rather Mika save his 5 goal game for the playoffs. Better yet, have him spread em out, 1 goal per game for the first five of round 1

The Trouba problem could be somewhat similar to the Kane debacle... The Rangers simply would've been better off without Kane last season/playoffs...but GM and/or coach just did not have the guts to go against the grain of his 'status'
