The descent out of the NHL is sometimes slow.  In this instance, it is at its final stop.

I said it when he was here… he’s not an nhl caliber player. Even as a 4th liner he stinks.

I mean, he is. He just has no upside at all. He's just there to give you some energy every now and then. He's like 2023 Ryan Hollweg.

I can't remember a single Hollweg one either, except when Chris Simon tried to cut his head off at the teeth.

Oh come on.. Hollweg might have been a worse hockey player than me but he got that team going everytime he stepped on the ice. Guy would hit everything in sight. You gotta at least remember that.

On the penalty-kill, you mean?

I remember him skating around like a gazelle with rabies and constantly boarding people.

I always liked the guy (Lemieux). Can play the game when he wants to. Very good agitator.

He and DeAngelo were buds back when they were here.  Surprised the Canes want the heat of thise two yapping  on and off the ice.

Wasn't his mom hot though?

I'm so glad we ditched this guy so we could run out Phil Di Digiorno.

Yes surely that was the key move that led to disaster for this team.

I remember wanting to go throw my beer at him in Game 3 against Pittsburgh in 2008. We were down 3-0, came all the way back to tie it on a Jagr goal, place was going fucking bananas. And what does this moron do? Next shift, goes out and takes a ridiculous penalty. And bang, Malkin scores. Fucking Hollweg.
