Even with Muzzin on LTIR they're like 3m over the cap now and that's with 12F/7D's and Samsonov not signed.

Probably a Matt Murray buyout, which frees up 5.3M. That would give them 2.9M in space to work with. Samsonov won't be signing that $1.8M QO. He'll file for arbitration and the Leafs qualify for a second buyout window. They'll have to find a way to squeeze pennies if Samsonov gets more than 2.9 in arbitration, but the Murray buyout gets them most if not all of the way to being cap compliant.
