Nobody is going to want to commit to paying him $7-8 mil per year for 4 years. His No Move Clause kicks in in 2024 so you HAVE to figure out a move sooner rather than later. I think the entire hockey world assumed this contract would fuck them. Maybe Spencer Knight hasn't been as lights out right away as everyone assumed he would be, but he's still a good young goalie and they definitely had to know he'd be their future when they signed Bob. baffling contract. Cash or Czech Posted June 15, 2022 Share Posted June 15, 2022 Respectable stats after a rough couple seasons, 33 years old, 4 years left. Tough sell. Only a few teams can go for that/need a goalie.
