He plays a hard style, now more minutes than he's used to. I'd give him a game off to rest. Bring him back on the 4th line to reestablish his game. Really not sharp mentally this game - pucks not getting deep, not getting past first blocker, shooting with no traffic. Not like they were bad, but certainly weren’t good and they weren’t good against Buffalo or Colorado either. the biggest thing I’m noticing though over past few games is we’re away from our physical game in the bottom six. Need to get back to that, especially that fourth line. We look befuddled when faced with a defensively oriented team. Panarin looked very frustrated. I'd be willing to see the Gauthier experiment on Zib's line for a full game, not that he's earned it. It's more a matter that Hunt isn't going to work there. I sure wouldn't mind having Colin Blackwell around to pep up that line a bit for a while.
