I looked closely during that replay to see this. While it 'appears' that Lemieux's head hitting the ice would be the natural progression, I wonder if they saw that exactly? Sure, Lemieux's hair had ice shavings on it but I think if he had gotten really knocked, he would have had a vastly different reaction. So, maybe the hair-pulling was only that. I'm not making excuses for Morin just going by what I actually saw. Or think I saw.

 

Either way, it was a low rent move. But then again, it's PHI.

You may be right, I only saw that in game replay but it looked pretty rough to me.
