Phil
"Right now, there is mutual interest between Taylor Hall — his camp — and the Buffalo Sabres to discuss an extension when the time is right. That could be a big name off the market, if you will, given that he's UFA on July 28th. That really has been the intention from the Buffalo Sabres since the get-go and that has not changed despite the team's slow start. Darren Ferris, the agent for Taylor Hall, is notorious for normally bringing his clients to UFA, but in this case, has interest in listening to the Sabres." Paraphrased from Insider Trading. LindG1000
I..uh... Sure, man. Whatever. Sabres are going to have fuckin 28 million tied up in Hall, Skinner, and Eichel until 2026. One of those players actively wants out. Another actively cannot make the lineup. Bird in hand, I guess, for Hall.
ThirtyONE
I simply do not buy this. Maybe he knows they're the only team that will pay him.

Get a guaranteed contract with an NMC, wait out another year or 2, demand trade. There's no way he stays there long term, especially if Eichel leaves.
