1/3/21- All Camps Open

1/13/21- NHL Season Begins

2/1/21- Teams can start asking players to waive their NMC for Expansion Draft

4/12/21- NHL Trade Deadline....FUN FOR US!

5/8/21- NHL Season Ends

5/11/21- Playoffs Start

7/15/21- Last Day Playoffs can End

24 Hours After the Cup is won Teams can begin to buyout players

7/21/21- The Expansion Draft for Seattle Team

7/22,23/21 The NHL Draft

7/28/21- UFA DAY!

Same. Also, just playing your big rivals all year, in a sprint for the postseason, could be a lot of fun to watch too.

Im not a huge fan of the playoffs though. Id rather see them go all 16 teams play each other. The number 1 seed plays the number 16 seed and so on. You have East and West teams mixed, so might as well just let all 16 play in one playoff bracket. How cool would it be to see say the Rangers play the Islanders for the cup.

I miss all of those battles in the finals between rivals from the same Conference. It's a shame that it is set up so that there never can be a cup final between original six teams.
