Because it gives the wrong person attention. Focus on Miller being a true professional in spite, instead.

While Rangers Twitter is insufferable, a lot of the black folks are pointing out that the answer to this is not to ignore it. I kind of have to go with their reco, with them being black and all. From all of my experiences, praising a person for overcoming racism has been more positive than playing the race card. In fact, playing the race card creates more racist feelings for a lot of people. All this backlash did was ensure The n-word is trending right with Miller.
