Ex-NHL star Sean Avery rejected a dismissal deal offer by prosecutors Monday in his arrest for scrapping with a motorist while traveling on his scooter. Avery, 39, would see the misdemeanor case wiped after six months of good behavior and pay $1,027 under the terms of the deal. Prosecutors had previously asked for more in restitution but lowered the requested amount. He could still take the offer at a later date.
