RJWantsTheCup
Hank comes in at 5. https://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/28325227/the-top-100-nhl-players-decade
Ozzy
I think the problem with a high priced goalie like Hank, I think is that it's really difficult to surround them with that many great players, since they soak up so much of the cap. BrooksBurner
Personally I'd put Ovechkin as an easy #2 behind Crosby.
Pete
Yea, not sure how McDavid is #2 when longevity is one criteria.

Blue Heaven
I think Price is a better goaltender than Lundqvist If you're looking at the last 3-4 years then sure, but before that Lundqvist hands down since he came into the league.
MickeyT
they acknowledge upfront that McDavid at #2 will cause people to scream “SAMPLE SIZE!!” so I just came here to do that.
Zuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuc
Ovi even got his cup this decade, so he should be no 2. Hank at 5 tho, so Im not gonna complain about the list. Ozzy
I go: 1. Sid 2. Ovi 3. Karlsson 4. McDavid 5. Bergeron

A large portion of this list only had 2 or 3 good seasons during this decade. Makes me even more upset the Rangers didnt go all-in for some of those seasons. ThirtyONE
I think Price is a better goaltender than Lundqvist I've been thinking about this. People always hold Price up to be the golden god of goaltending but his career stats are almost exactly the same as Hank's and Hank has had WAY more post season success. Yeah I’ve never gotten the argument on Price over Lundqvist either. As you said , virtually identical numbers, hardware is similar, though Price has a Hart, yet Lundqvist has the better post season resume. They are essentially the same goaltender I think the Price mystique or favoritism comes from him being the anointed one in Montreal more than anything. Top-5 pick, in the league at 20 and a Star right away. But they are achingly close.
MickeyT
you know the decade should really be 10/11-19/20 but oh well.

Price was never as lucky with the team in front of him.
MuddyInTheMiddle
Not sure how Panarin shows up as a Blue Jacket; I see Kessel is listed as a Penguin & McDonaugh as a Ranger, but why not just show their current team?
