Albatrosss
Either 2-2 or 3-1 after tonight, Blues really need this game. Time for some Gloria! there must be a 3rd option. must be!

Pete
You go with the guy that got you there. Always. Maybe not when they guy has been trash and came into the year 5th on your depth chart...I'd go Allen or pull Binnington after one softie.
Pete
So Binnington is in, as is Dunn, Bortuzzo is out. Dramatically helps the Blues' breakout.

Maybe if there is something else behind the scene- like the guy is a complete mess, or hurt. What’s his record following a loss? He deserves the start. Stephen
That was a Great goal by O'Reilly. Really reminiscent of Matteau's Goal to send us to the final in '94.

fletch
Too good of a series to end in five. Let's go six... or seven. Ryan effing O'Reilly!!!
Stephen
Too good of a series to end in five. Let's go six... or seven. Ryan effing O'Reilly!!! It's great to see him and the franchise succeed and I hate Boston and their fans. It's possible the Blues could win the Cup on their Home Ice, which will all but exorcise the demons which have plagued this franchise... forever! Let's Go Blues
Stephen
Why didn't Rask cover up the puck which could've stopped the play, get Boston a much-needed whistle, change, maybe even a Timeout for the Bruins?
ThirtyONE
Too good of a series to end in five. Let's go six... or seven. Ryan effing O'Reilly!!! I talked shit about him earlier in the year when the Blues were dead last. Clearly, I was uninformed haha.
Gravesy
Great performance by the Blues. That team is so resilient, I'm actually starting to believe they may just do it. Huge game in Boston on Thursday.

After all those years in Buffalo I'm sure O'Reilly has some desperation for these Finals.

Blue Heaven
Chara has a broken jaw....status is up in the air for Game 5. First reports yesterday mentioned he was done for the series but I cant see that happening in the Stanley Cup Final. If Stepan can play with a broken jaw so can Chara. That can't be easy playing with a broken jaw and must hurt every time you are hit.
Sod16
Teams that win game 5 win the series about 80% of the time https://www.hockey-reference.com/playoffs/playoff-history.cgi Interesting set of stats. Yes, a team that wins at home to go up 3-2 wins the series 80% of the time. But keep in mind, a team that wins at home to go up 1-0 has a 76% chance of winning. Also, a team up 3-2 would have a 75% chance of getting at least one heads on two coin flips. As for Chara injury, if the Bruins can win the Cup with Steve Kampfer and John Moore playing regular shifts on D, we should be very close to contention... fletch
even if Chara can play, doesn't broken jaw usually only mean liquid food? Less than 100% for sure. Series is a war of attrition and Blues are healthier at the moment
