Blue Heaven Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 He's making the right choice considering his head injuries the last few years.
phillyb Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 I will never forget Nash?s game against Columbus when he dropped the gloves against Comeau (sp?). He was a beast that whole game. I?ll also never forget him getting booed during the 2014 season. Garden faithful. lol.
Mistercosmic Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 I'll miss the Nasher. Thank you for everything. Sent from my [device_name] using http://Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
NYR2711 Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 Congrats on a good career. Wouldn't mind him coming to MSG as a commentator though.
Vodka Drunkenski Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 Prep him for tv, hope he doesn?t go invisible in the playoff broadcast though
Phil Posted October 9, 2018 Author Posted October 9, 2018 Prep him for tv, hope he doesn’t go invisible in the playoff broadcast though So he can awkwardly look into the camera all the time?
Blue Heaven Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 Nash, 34, has not officially retired, despite rumors on Tuesday that he’d submitted his paperwork to the league. But in an exclusive chat with The Athletic, the former Blue Jackets, Rangers and Bruins star said he’s waiting for his body to determine if he should keep playing. The concussion symptoms that disrupted his 2017-18 season with Boston, have not entirely subsided, he said, though he declined to describe the side-effects he’s suffering. I think that would be the sign that its time to hang up the skates. https://theathletic.com/578915/2018/10/09/rick-nash-waiting-for-concussion-symptoms-to-fade-before-he-decides-on-nhl-future/
josh Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 So he can awkwardly look into the camera all the time? He’ll be a politician or weatherman
Sod16 Posted October 10, 2018 Posted October 10, 2018 This is a "no brainer" for a 34 year old if he still feels effects -- any effects -- from a concussion that occurred over six months ago. Rick is a great guy and I would be glad if he came back to the Rangers in some capacity.
SaveByRichter35 Posted October 11, 2018 Posted October 11, 2018 So he is confirming what everyone else knew 6 months ago.
