Blue Heaven Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 :tweet: @JoeSmithTB BREAKING: Steve Yzerman told #TBLightning players in a meeting today he?s stepping aside as GM to be in advisory role, per source. BriseBois taking over as GM.
Phil Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 He's going back to DET at the end of the season IMO. Believe Holland only has one year left as well. Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
josh Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Something's up. I think a lot of what he did is overrated, but he's still made a lot of good moves for that organization. Now, they are on the cusp. Strange time to step aside, voluntarily.
L'albatros Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 first Les Moonves stepping down and now Yzerman. wow!
Fatfrancesa Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 When are the skeltons coming out of the closet here? Seems like they are getting ahead of something

Zuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuc Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 wtf? Wow, where did this come from? I think most Tampa fans really liked Yz. Build them into a contender team without sacrificing the youth, made a lot of good trades and signings aswell. This makes no sense. Got to be something we dont know about here.
Gravesy Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Definitely something in the water here. Looking forward to some dirty laundry being aired. edit, maybe not, having read the article on The Athletic.
