I really believe the 'Yotes can be a playoff team next season. They just dug themselves into such a deep hole at the start but they really turned things around the second half.

Yeah, they're one year away, max. On paper right now there's a lot to like about them. Keller, Stepan, Galchenyuk top line. Hjalmarsson, OEL locked in. Raanta locked in. It's not bad at all.

I didn?t watch much of them last year, but I imagine Hammer was more than serviceable. So good on them for re-signing him.

They also added Keumper which gives them solid goaltending depth. They had problems with Rantaa?s health last season. When he was healthy they were good.

Well he missed 30-something games, but I think he did basically what he always does. Tough zone starts, solid.

I just dont get the Hayton pick. They had Zadina gifted to them and went for organizational need instead. Dont get it.
