given that Fast is performing my ideal lines would be (and in no order per se)

 

 

Chris Kreider A / Mika Zibanejad / Jesper Fast - clicking/chemistry

Jimmy Vesey / Filip Chytil / Ryan Spooner - I see Chytil as dynamic. Spooner gives him extra speed/playmaking whereas Vesey is the triggerman/dirty worker

*body* / Kevin Hayes / Mats Zuccarello - Hayes is a goalscorer and defensive forward. Zucc, also plays PK and is a playmaking wizard. Issue is the extra body.

Vladislav Namestnikov / Lias Andersson / Pavel Buchnevich - I think Andersson is a straightforward player who needs a little extra skill (Buch) and could benefit from a more dynamic partner (namest)

Yup. McLeod ruining things.

 

Probably put Holland on that line.

...And not really a "shooter" either. I can totally see Hayes being a really solid career 3rd line center down the road. That's not a knock on him, but he can win draws, play solid defense and understands the game for 200 feet. He's smart with the puck as well, which is a novelty on this freakin team.

 

I'd really like to see him shoot a LOT more...he's got a pretty good release and he can also play fairly well in front of the net.

I'm glad he's in, because we're trying to lose, but how McLeod has somehow surpassed any of the three guys who are sitting just makes me laugh. What is his purpose?

 

He has more of a purpose now, than he did when they got him.

 

If you are going to lose, and ice a bunch of young guys, better have someone ready, willing and able to go, if necessary (not that he does... but... he'd be more likely than anyone else on the team)

I’m not entirely sure what your angle is, but I’m assuming you have eyes and as such can see how ridiculous it is to put McLeod on that line.

If the 4th line was Vesey - Andersson - Fast, like it should be, people would be whining even more.

 

He's in a lose-lose situation with fans.

Possibly because his moves make little sense and his "coaching" is awful.
