ThirtyONE
Rangers have a metric ton of bodies. Especially on the left side. Skjei, Staal, Gilmour, O'Gara, Smith, Bereglazov, Day, Hajek, and Rykov are all there, albeit at various degrees of stability, for him to leap over. Phil
Yes, they do. And it's a lot of them to leapfrog for a guy with just two seasons of NCAA hockey under his belt and not a minute of time spent playing professionally. You're not thinking "I don't have experience, let me stay in college." You're thinking "I can play for that team and SOON." And the Rangers want him to go pro so they can work with him directly. Makes total sense to me.
Phil
Yes. I'm speaking to the likelihood of him making the roster immediately. Not what his chances look like in the near future. He's got a decent chance, for sure, but I wouldn't go penciling him in just yet. He's got a significant hurdle to clear first. Puck Head
Sure, I just think if the move is AHL or NCAA, Rangers probably want him in the AHL so they can develop him themselves. Oh very sure, if he?s ready, AHL is the only place to be. Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk

RJWantsTheCup
Defense has one open spot on the leftside for next season. Staal & Skjei are locks for two spots. More than likely the rightside will be Pionk, Shattenkirk & DeAngelo. So, we will have to out score opponents to have a successful season.
Dunny
Fair to say ceiling is Anton Stralman? I don't think they're similar at all. Not that I can think of a better comparison atm.

ThirtyONE
He gave an interview on the NHL app. Seems like a confident kid. Pretty big too. I have high hopes for him. Funny how a defensive defenseman can make you excited after a year like this.
