Giacomin
Ha ha, sweet. MacKinnon is a beast! MVP. We should have traded the ranch for him when we had the chance. Love him, he's finally breaking out into a consistent monster. I'm scared, these guys are on a roll. Landy and Nate show tonight. Bernier's been real hot. They are missing a few good players and it hasn't mattered.

Man do I wish we had found a way to snatch him up back when the chance was there. And Bernier has been practically unstoppable since Varlamov?s LBI. We need to be on our game or we?re gonna be smoked. Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
Phil
I wonder if they might have been able to leverage Stepan for MacKinnon in a larger deal. Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
fletch
this is the free game on NHL.com as long as you're outside the NYC metro area.
Dunny
Grabner out (flu) Cattenacci in per Twitter. Hopefully Nash has another two in him. I think Catennacci is the first OS Attack grad we've employed since Avery... So hey, you never know..

Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk Interesting thought. Would have been a gamble but now knowing what we know (he's been sensational) would have been pure genius.
Phil
I don't think it would have been that big of a gamble at all. It would have been leveraging a bad situation to pry out value. Seguin. Dunny
Would have taken a A1 controllable piece with Stepan, though.

Giacomin
In chaos there is opportunity. Expansion and all the shuffling/uncertainty and we should've pounced. Oh what might've been. We have to take advantage of other team's misfortune, miscalculations and mistakes. A Situation where Boychuk is a cap casualty or Montreal is ready to give up a top young dman for a young forward or Boston is selling off good assets at a discount or Chirelli has a half price sale or Florida goes analytic or a bunch of teams can't protect quality in an expansion draft. The one place mgmt has been real good is with unsigned college draft choices.

Ha, awesome example. Just deal with Chirelli, not Yzerman. Would Step (or the proceeds from his trade), Miller and a 1st done it? I do not even want to think about it. Giacomin
UGH..... 0-1 outworked on that shift out TALENTED is the reality. They worked their ass off just like a Hartford pack of wolves. And they were dying out there, against a fresh top line, after an awful icing.
