josh Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 So... what are we getting the wife/wives this year?
phillyb Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Jack and I are getting married on Friday. The following Friday we leave for Paris to spend xmas amongst les fran?ais. Apres, nous travaillons au Amsterdam pour Les New Year. So I don?t think we?re exchanging gifts this year. Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk

4EverRangerFrank Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Fun times booze - congratulations! Over the past 4 years and now that our boys are grown (20 and 18) we?ve taken family trips for Christmas to New Years. Mostly Cancun but this year Jamaica. Enjoying the final run of our little family unit before they start having serious relationships. If we could, I?d do this forever. #prouddad
phillyb Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 That?s awesome. And thank you both. I wouldn?t mind making a habit out of travelling for the holidays. Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
Dunny Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 We don't exchange gifts. I bought her some freezer beef in September, that's probably all she'll get till next year.

Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk A few years back we just decided that we didn?t need more ?stuff? and gained consensus to travel instead. We miss being with extended family during that week but make sure to be ?close? with them before and after the trip.

paddynyc Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 guys, please stay on task. you're supposed to be telling me what to buy!! How about a trip to a spa ? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
phillyb Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 How about a trip to a spa ? That's a great idea. Does she like gift cards? Or does she think they're impersonal? If gift cards are fair game, Victoria's Secret, Ulta/Sephora (or any other makeup store), and her favorite bakery/coffee shops. If she doesn't like gift cards, then figure out what she needs from either VS or a makeup store. A robe. Shit for the bath (good soap, salts, loofa, etc.) What's something that she needs but would never buy herself? Something that she'd never justify buying, but always talks about? Or something that would help her at work? Shit dude, think for your fucking self. lol
josh Posted December 12, 2017 Author Posted December 12, 2017 I don't know, man, she's Vietnamese. I can't understand a god damn word.

4EverRangerFrank Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Nothing says, ?I love you? better than a fat wad of cash. (Oh, wait, I thought this was the Politics thread.) [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
SaveByRichter35 Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 This is our first Christmas as parents, our son is 5 months old tomorrow. I sold my old car recently so we have some cash and decided we're not going to actually exchange but instead do some stuff for the house. We just had new garage doors and auto openers installed yesterday and we bought a nice snowblower. We also put some money away in our son's college fund.
