Binged the entire series the other night.

Not a fan of a Punisher with a heart, but it was watchable and ended well with a brutal face scrape as well as the thumbs to the eyes of Rawlins. But the portrayed nice guy and not complete fucking maniac he was closer to being in Daredevil kinda stunk. I guess we will see jigsaw in the future, but hopefully not in the next season as the whole focal point.

Yeah, I thought they were really onto something early on, but this season wasn't great. Bringing back, in effect, the exact same villain from season one was a mistake.

I don't mind the same villain, at least not for now since I'm only up to the part where he just broke out of the hospital (could see that coming a mile away).

Officially cancelled.

Frank Castle might still be stuck in the war zone of his mind, but Netflix?s The Punisher has come to an end after two seasons. His Marvel compatriot, Jessica Jones, will also see her story end?but it?ll be after the third season of Jessica Jones airs. This news comes courtesy of Deadline today.

With Netflix abruptly ending its other series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, like Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Daredevil, it was only a matter of time before Lady Death came a-knocking for The Punisher, despite the show?s surprisingly strong second season. And though we?ve yet to see its still-to-be-aired third season, amid all these farewells, Jessica Jones? end is hardly a surprise.
