quick release Posted February 18, 2014 Share Posted February 18, 2014 I just opened a checking account with Discover and I'm thrilled with it. The service Discover gives you is amazing. Real Americans on the phone that give you 100% of their attention. Also the app is great. It has a section for your credit card and a section for your banking. It then has an ATM finder ( tons of ATM's all over that work for free with Discover). And it has a deposit thing where you take a pic of each side of the check and you're done. Works perfectly. Also you get 10 cents for any deposit and for some other transactions I think. I highly recommend Discover as both a credit card and a bank account. If you want to do a savings account, just find the best interest rate. Online is fine. I used Emigrant Direct a long time ago and had no issues.
