Face-planting on concrete steps: The danger of fighting at NY Rangers game

One thing that I've noticed is now that the walkways are gone, security can only watch the crowd from the west balcony and the wheelchair sections behind the upper bowl. If a fight breaks out they have to radio for backup on the 8th floor or wherever they are before they can go into the bowl and break up the fight. It usually takes a good 4 or 5 minutes before they arrive.

It really is ridiculous how many people are throwing around the word "ginger" and being derogatory. But if anyone was to say "smack that brownie" to someone with darker skin, or "smack that pancake face" to an asian, those same people calling this kid a fat ginger would be outraged, and would label others as racists. Or at the very least, there are a shitload of people who say nothing about the slurs against this kid but would absolutely say something if it were a slur against a different minority.

Have to agree

Noticed that as well. During the last Islander game, a few GOOD fights broke out and the only reason they ended is because the people fighting got tired. Security took a long time to finally get up there.
