A video in which Jones laments his involvement in the sitcom appeared on YouTube today. The clip is the second part of a religious testimony Jones gave to Chris “The Forerunner” Hudson, a Christian conspiracy theorist who believes President Obama’s reelection is a sign that the End of Days is near. After describing his religious awakening, Jones takes aim at the series that made him famous.

“Jake from Two and a Half Men means nothing,” Angus says. “He is [a] non-existent character.”

The former child star, whose Men character recently romanced Miley Cyrus onscreen, then sighs and brings his forehead to his hand. “Two and a Half Men – if you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men. I’m on Two and a Half Men, and I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth. Please.”

Angus, who’s reportedly paid $300,000 per episode, goes on to advise viewers to “do some research on the effect of television on your brain,” and apparently compares TV — if not Two and a Half Men itself — to Satan. “A lot of people don’t like to think about how deceptive the enemy is,” he says. “He’s been doing this for a lot longer than any of us have been around. There’s no playing around when it comes to eternity.”

Warner Bros. TV — which produces Two and a Half Men – and CBS have no comment.

Here's the video. The 'Men' bashing starts at 7:37:

The show is pretty fucking awful though

Always has been, and this will be a nail in it's coffin IMO. Unless Chuck Lorre decides to bring in a replacement "half", and goes with the 3.0 version of this trash.

What's Haley Joel Osment up to?

He's on Always Sunny now.

I thought the show was decent with Sheen & chubby Jake. Now, they have the annoying English chick and no Jenny McCarthy or Jennifer Taylor

Maybe he'll stick with it, but most times many of these guys catch wind of something and get things in their head and they have these "religous awakenings"

and they just go off, only to eventually either tone it down or break down from it.

He's a kid thats still young, lived a different life than most of us, probably guarded and not exposed to the real world. Going off the deep end can be common for folks like him.

Show had its funny moments, but for the most I just never got into it.

He's a 7th Day something

The Seventh-day Adventist Church[2][3] is a Protestant Christian[4] denomination distinguished by its observance of Saturday,[5] the original seventh day of the Judeo-Christian week, as the Sabbath, and by its emphasis on the imminent second coming (Advent) of Jesus Christ. The denomination grew out of the Millerite movement in the United States during the middle part of the 19th century and was formally established in 1863.

whoops -

An extramarital affair is one of the sanctioned grounds for a divorce, although reconciliation is encouraged whenever possible. Adventists believe in and encourage abstinence for both men and women before marriage. The church disagrees with extra-marital cohabitation.[42] The New Testament texts are interpreted to teach that wives should submit to their husbands in marriage[43] and that "husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it".
