I know they have a science section which id like to be honest. Is their business/investing section good? Most likely the WSJ is better than the NYT on that section.

Exactly, WSJ focuses on financial and business stories so they beat NY Times there.

 

I like the Times opinion and editorial pieces and their sports section. They have some good writers there.

Hmmm yeah, I'll have to see what I can do to satisfy my science fix. I'm a stickler for science/technology and most of the time, WSJ has technology but no science.

Every Tuesday, NYT releases Science Times which is an pretty big spread.

I feel like a media outlet has no pull. There are so many outlets for news coverage now, there's no necessity for such a publication, even if it is as prestigious as the NYT.

I feel like a media outlet has no pull. There are so many outlets for news coverage now, there's no necessity for such a publication, even if it is as prestigious as the NYT.

 

This, newspapers are OK to read when you have a lot of down time, but whenever anyone wants news, its just easier to check online. With smart phones it is even easier.
