CreaseCrusader91
Actor Sherman Hemsley, famous for playing Archie Bunker's former neighbor George Jefferson in the "All in the Family" spin-off "The Jeffersons," has died at 74, his representative said in a statement to Reuters. On "The Jeffersons," Hemsley played a dry-cleaning tycoon who'd worked his way up from a small store to a chain. Isabel Sanford played his wife Louise, whom George often called Weezie, and Marla Gibbs played the couple's maid, Florence. Damn, I met this guy in South Carolina and he was very personable and funny. RIP :( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpPF59sCojE&feature=player_detailpage

I am Scags
RIP Felt bad for the guy later in his life because he would be doing a lot of small time shows and meet and greets, probably to offset financial losses. But what a great actor for such a great show, there will never be anything like it again.
