NYRangers92
it has a very mainstream/poppy sound to it. Every song on the album has that verse, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus x2 breakdown that most pop songs have. Its also very drum and bass heavy, I guess to mask any concerns they had about Klinghoffer
Giaco
I'm really digging this album. My favorites: Ethiopia, Police Station, Even You Brutus and Annie Wants a Baby Now. Josh's voice is different but I like it. You can here him on some backup vocals on some of the tracks. I got the midnight download 2 nights ago. Just waiting for the CD to come to my house along with the shirt. Great album!
Rizz GAWD Lav No Cap FrFr
To me, it's just hard for them to do another album without Frusciante. The guys aloof, and he never lets it all hang out in his solo's, but he has this Hendrix meets funk sound that really is a staple to RHCP, and I feel like ever since he joined on, any time they do something without him it's just not the same. NYR2711
The last two albums they did with him I really didnt like. He was excellent on Mothers Milk and BSSM, but I dont think they will ever have amazing albums like that ever again. John just keeps getting weirder and weirder too.
