Phil
http://www.crainsnewyork.com/article/20110417/SUB/304179967 New York area cable subscribers who had hoped to watch HBO's Game of Thrones online will be disappointed. HBO GO, the Web video destination that launched last week with Verizon FiOS, DirecTV and other operators, will not be coming to Time Warner Cable or Cablevision anytime soon. No one is saying what the problem is, though it could have to do with HBO's desire to build a direct online relationship with its 29 million subscribers?something that makes cable operators nervous. ?We don't have a deal,? said a Time Warner Cable spokesman. A Cablevision spokesman declined to comment.
