UGH, so got a phone call from my sister tonight, telling me my dads uncle was found dead inside his house, by his neighbor. So my gram is the last sibling remaining from her family

So going to my mom's aunts funeral in the am and now to see when the next one will be.

So sorry Mike. :(

good morning

found out my great aunt passed away at her nursing home early yesterday morning, she had just turned 100 back in November. The funeral is Monday morning.

It's sad, but she lived a long life and honestly other than dementia, she might've been one of the healthiest people in the family.

Yeah, this is our place to just chat with each other, talk random things like school, work or other stuff that doesn't deserve a new or own thread, but is still worth (or not worth, LOL) sharing. :)

Good times really, went to an amusement park with some friends and I am working hard on school for the last two weeks of this semester. I'm happy when it's summer.

I'm doing very well on that thesis. I am rapidly approaching the 12000 words that I needed, I think my facts, assumptions and ideas work really well and the conclusion that I am expecting to write tomorrow will be surprising, but great. I am going to factually argue that despite our liberal image worldwide, Dutch education and scientific research is more restricted by religion than education and science in the often conservatively seen United States. My professor is gonna love it.
