Yeah, the only thing I was thinking that entire 3rd period was «that’s how you play a 3rd period with a lead in the playoffs». The Rangers have no idea how to do that.

There’s gonna be some hot headed takes in this thread, but at the end of the day they lost to a better team in game 6 in the ECF.

We all hoped for a Cup, but there’s only one winner every year and although they had a great regular season we all knew there probably was a few better teams. We ran into one of them and did get the necessary bounces. It sucks, but it is what it is.

To be fair to Drury I think he sees the same thing we do, but his options are limited.

I’m sure there will be some big changes coming now. It should start with one or both of MZ/CK and the Captain.

If we lose tonight (or game 7) it will be heartbreaking, but more like against Tampa in 2022 where you lost to a more experienced and better team. Sucks, but it’s not embarassing like the loss to Devils.

Not even sure what to say. It’s not over, but it kinda feels like it. Yes they’ve shown they can do it before, but the way Zibanejad responded after last game gives me zero confindence in him turning it around next game.

And Panarin looks worse every game. Today he was just sad to watch. Mishandling the puck everywhere, turning the puck over all the time, reckless passes and some awful finishing.

They look beaten and they look lost. Just like in the Tampa series.
