Careful start to third from two teams that want at least one point.  A breakdown or power play, or this is probably going to OT.

On merit zib-kreider-roslovic have earned fourth line TOI for the third period.  Other lines are just much better tonight.

What is up with the start of second periods lately with us.  Sloppy turnovers are just brutal 

Nice to have a lead after the first compliments of scoring from your bottom two lines.

I think the next cross check by Trouba or Lindgren gets them a minor.  They were laying out Wings on the kill but not enough for the refs to give them a five on three.

Devils still suck.  But they sure have outworked us for their two goals.

Young players only develop with opportunities.  Dumping a young player onto a fourth line and healthy scratches kill confidence.

 If you continually overpay with trade deadline rentals and free agent acquisitions you lose room to maneuver under the salary cap and don’t have the roster space for young players to get TOI.

Playoff hockey is different than regular season hockey.  We will need the boost from other players other than Panarin-Trocheck-Laf line.

We got Roslovic and Wennberg so organization has to decide whether to scratch Cuylle, Rempe, Brodzinski, Goodrow, etc.  It is what it is.  I hate seeing Rempe in the lineup and getting 6 minutes TOI, if he's in the lineup get him ice time.

Too bad Phil can't afford a parallel program for BSBH members. 

There's only two good teams in the Metro (Rangers and Canes), so the idea path would be playing the Atlantic division once in the ECF and then the Western Conference, with as much home ice as possible.  In the Atlantic are the Bruins, Panthers, Leafs, and Lightning, so only having to play one of those teams is better than two of those teams.

If that Rakell hit doesn’t piss off the Rangers then nothing is going to fire them up tonight.  Four -two Rangers win final prediction /hope because I’m pissed. Pit could have not poked the bear with a stick but did.

Shesterkin fighting Crosby would instantly be a top ten Rangers moment for me.

Somehow we are making the Penguins look like a good.hockey team, which should stop immediately.  Let’s go back to making them look old and slow.
