I’m very hard on Panarin for large parts of this year and I personally think his play this playoffs justifies my worries. It’s been in the making for the whole year. I partly think this might be in part to Gallant being a hands off players coach at times. I’ll be damned if I pretend to know more than him though lol However, he’s still not going anywhere and I’m not sure he should right now. You still need to get to the postseason. He gets you that at minimum. There is also the Marian Gaborik scenario which I’d rather not repeat. I do think Panarin will figure it out eventually. Might not be this year but it will be eventually.

Honestly, you can’t trade Panarin. Even if his playoffs don’t improve, you still need regular season compilers to get you in a playoff spot+ It’s silly talk. Whether Strome retunrns? His production is less of an issue as his faceoff ability. There is too much middle of the road or below middle of the road. At least in terms of overpaying him. Let’s worry about that after a cup win, eh?
