man given a week to reflect i'm really happy the main starks were out of the way. rob, his wife and mother were just plain annoying. jon has the same stupid traits. arya is definitely the coolest of the bunch.

its hard to root for the lannisters outside of the dwarf, but god the old man really steals any scene he is in. I so hope at some point cersei is dragged out to a barn and horsefucked.

you guys answered my question. so I can read the second book and essentially half of the third. funny thing is I never liked Katelyn, so in the first book I really didn't read the passages about her.

is robs wife related to Charlie Chaplin? well done T.V. the HBO series be it the Sopranos, 6 feet under, boardwalk, Oz all have really pushed the limits. I only read the first book. I want to read the second but not until the T.V. series surpasses it as to not be surprised. Sounds like I cannot read the second book until sometime past Season 4. is this accurate?

that theon scene was just pure medevil. hard to watch. reminded me of some of the oz scenes. was hoping Jaime threw that guy into the bear pit. cant believe there's only 3 left, though I saw a bus ad tonite driving home that said boardwalk is back end of sept ... wooot.

good set up episode. i'm sorta happy everyone seems to finally be getting where they were going. a whole lot of wagon training here. i thought the guy that took the kingslayers hand was going to get offed. the last scene was really cool. dinklage plays that character so well.

i only read book 1 because i want to see this play out on film without knowing. that being said, i thought it would be the black chick that would have filled Dany in on what the guy was saying. The way they did it though was off the hook. Might have been my second favorite scene out of all the HBO's shows, aside from Pullo wiping everyone out in the gladiator scene in Rome, holding up his sword afterwards yelling "13" for his regiment.
