I love finding old live videos on YouTube of bands I’ve loved since the 90s.
Clutch circa 1998.
I’m remember seeing these guys for the first time back around then.
I saw them so many times around the Clutch album. My dad and I pretty much followed them around NY/NJ.

Lunar Shadow - (Epic) Heavy Metal from Germany
Kind of reminds me of what a Blind Guardian demo from the 80's might sound like.

After reading the comic that scene was exactly what I expected and I'm glad they delivered on that level.

Some stuff I like:

I think I've had my fill of TWD. I'd rather have a series for World War Z that actually follows the narrative of the book. I think we are at zombie overload though.

Same shit, different timezone?

He was one of the greatest guys with the fans. After every game, he would come out and talk to the fans and before he left, he would make sure everyone got a signature if they wanted one. He talked with us one night for like a half hour outside, Lindros was the same way. I always liked him, he was good for the team and always stuck up for his teammates.
He was one of my favorite players during the dark ages. Great guy

Congrats! I'll be doing that in June.
Where are you headed?

Signed a lease with my gf today. Feels good!

Or just keep it for myself since I probably need it more than you
That's probably a better idea haha.
At this pace I'll be completely broke by march...yay!!!!

IDK why I come to Atlantic City, I don't fucking win.
Next time you want to go just give the money to me and feel good about helping someone in need instead of being angry at losing it in AC :p

What are we wearing?

I'm only going to be doing private lessons at aviator. I haven't had a team affiliation in a while

I like to work on skating too, but there are plenty of people who can teach it. The same can't be said for quality goalie instruction, but my brother is keeping up with that demand.
-
Looks like my focus is going to change to skating coach instead of goalie coach.
-
I was thinking of building a standing desk for myself.

That really is the best you can ask for. Some places get it and some don't. If you sacrifice kids' development for the sake of yearly team success, then all you really do is hurt the kids and the organization in the long run. Having kids improve on a regular basis and having fun in the meantime will only make things better for them as they progress, and will also lead to fruitful assets when the time for serious competition in their later years comes into play.
Even in my experiences, I still have difficult parents, but most of the time it is from people who know the game from a long time ago and aren't familiar with the way they are now. With players is mostly has to do with shot mechanics, but with goalies there is the "my dad played goalie in the 80's and he says I should do this instead of what you say" dynamic that comes and goes.

I agree 100% Mikey...All of those reasons are why I would much rather just be a skills coach and focus on helping people improve their skills instead of just worrying about winning all the time.

I'm not a fan of cross ice. How do you guys feel about it?

Looks like they are all trying to hit like Ovechkin.
