  1. Well fugg! What now? IMO was maybe our best "future" goaltending option in the pipeline.
  2. Idiot..\ I thought his act was an act back in the day and maybe it was. Very sad it's becoming more and more reality. I'm guessing it won't end well if he keeps that up.
  3. Gotta run to work, late, but in case this interview was not up already Liking this kid more and more. http://www.blueshirtsunited.com/video/getting-know-sean-day-nhl-draft
  4. That one's quite encouraging. The same article says. And then you had two rankings that were high-ish NHL Central Scouting (43rd) TSN’s Bob McKenzie (46th)
  5. Again a bit of juice from BB Greag Balloch, who was cited by Herman, is head of @SurreyEagles goaltending development. as far as his goaltending knowledge goes. For all that, however Balloch did not include Wall in his list of top 10 goaltenders available in the draft. But goaltending selections seem like as much science as alchemy, so ... seems like a good pickup until it ain't. and like So Nashty says, the name is right.
  6. Seems like a decent sensible kind of pick for a 4th round. Moves the puck but defensively sound as well and not afraid to play the body. Sounds like it checks most of the playoffs requirements boxes to me.
  7. Well that's good. One can hope that actually getting drafted and closer to an NHL career gets him more inspired. Jeez I hope not that long  this guy doesn't even sound like he has the motivation to go through 2 more years of dues paying let alone 5. But these attributes are encouraging. maybe our system can make something of him if he lasts long enough to get in it.
  8. So ... Raphy Diaz and jayson Megna successfully pass through waivers to Hartford. http://www.rotoworld.com/teams/transactions/nhl/all/today/
  9. Your evening might end a lot more quickly. Recommend you looks for better IPAs / better beers
  10. Exciting stuff. Looks like he's hard to beat clean, alright. Now with the NHL imploding, more Russian prospects might be thinking of coming here, sooner rather than later, whether we're ready or not. And with 8 more years of Hank ahead, I wonder if there's room in our system -- if the timing's just all wrong -- he is young, but he seems to be playing at a high level already -- which looks basically ready, to slide into an NHL role somewhere in the next few years.
  11. Just trying to have the coolest, hottest looking team, Phil-style ... Beginning with top line right wingr http://www.h2omen.com/Rangers/JagrSighting.jpeg
  12. Freaking Man City let CSKA off the hook. Game could have been 4-0, wound up 2-2, sloppy ending.
  13. Not bad. If push came to shove, 2 of those 4 could probably sub up to the NHL level for a short visit to cover for injury. And in the meantime talent is developing down there.
  14. No doubt we need some goalie talent in the system — whether Cambot recovers well or not, since Cambot may chose to move on before Hank needs to share more time. Like the observation that he's rarely beat with anything clean, only rebounds and deflections. "Most underrated pick in the draft," was among the comments in the OP links
  15. Just checking you're still alive. Miss you in the GDT :)

  19. Finesse forwards and SAH defensemen having communication issues
  20. Ha, funny, thanks for that rep ... it was 8:40 listening to Doc Emrick and we musta both been 3 sheets to the wind already, what the hell was going on that night?

  22. Caramba, if we still continue having scoring woes, well, try Kristo before trading?
  23. It's good news that Kristo is having some success. I'm also reminded we have this guy, Oscar Lindberg, who started camp well and was one of the last to be cut. I guess they're getting him up to speed on various facets of the game to make him more well rounded when he comes up. I think he may have what it takes, somewhere far down the road, assuming he keeps developing and that there's a spot.
  24. If he gets the defensive side of the game nailed down, down there, probably only a matter of time ... now whether that's measured in months or some other unit of time, who knows.
