My sense is the barrier to breaking out is confidence with this kid. He's got the tools and the drive just needs to know that he belongs and can be a game changer. He needs to stop deferring to the vets and shoot the damn puck!! Really looking forward to a great season from him!

Had high hopes for this kid. I really don't see the work ethic and drive. doesn't get his hands dirty, be it physical play or driving the net. He only makes sense on a low $ bridge deal. At this point I see him as a journeyman 3rd liner unless something dramatic happens from within him.

The little I have seen video wise the kid looks tenacious. If so excellent sign. Worming your ass off makes up for a fair amount of sin as far as ability. Hopefully he has this trait and its not just on highlight reels. Promising!
