I actually dont praise him. None of my posts praise him other than being real that people need to give the kid time and stop living in September 2021. I have never said anything about him performing great, other than solid game last night. I just it humorous that people spend time on him so much because they hold grudges as fans. And gautier has been around a lot longer. I would expect him to be able to surpass him at this point. Not a good comparison.

Except that he had his best game yet, fought through body contact to get shots on goal and win the puck to help set up goodrows goal. I get people wanna get on the kid from last year,but time to move on. The team has...he has shown much more grit and comfort last 2 games. At some point people gotta actually see the positives overall and not rip the kid after 1 shift in a game because we can behind our screens.

Not about knowing a difference. You wanna judge based on pre season, do it for everyone. Holding a kid to the same expectations as a veteran is idiotic. The veteran is the one who should perform in that case, not the young kid still learning the game. Just be real with the criticism of the play.

Nailed it. If anyone here played any sports of higher level you would know how much of a mental component everything is. The kid knows he is under the microscope, he is still young in a new country, trying to figure it all out. The kid just needs a few things to go his way and things can flip quickly with his talent. Amazing how people seriously want to judge based on a handful of pre season games. He needs to be around the club for a few months, get in some games where he isnt talked about, and let him figure it out.

Some of ya'll need to chillax with the kid. Give him 25 games to develop. If nothing then, fine. But some of ya'll act as if he is a 10 year veteran who is now sucking. He is a young kid, still learning the game. Geez.

Better because Kravstov wasn't part of the last year. He's like adding a really good free agent as well. Add to that Blais and that's 3 additions that technically weren't there yesterday.

I think yall put too much stock in 2c vs 3c. If one is playing better than the other, he becomes the "2c". There's plenty of ice to have quality time for 2 guys who want to play center not named Mika. Not like the "3c" is only allowed 5 minutes of ice time.
