2025 6th too. Chicago is where Rookie-QBs go to die. Caleb should be afraid.

didn't expect this one

And in turn Aaron Jones left GB and joined the Vikings, pissing off Packers fans everywhere, which might already be the high mark of the 2024 Vikings, but I take it. lol

Cousins is the poster boy for why you do not pay your QB like he's the only guy that matters on offense.
The NFL keeps doing this but the only guy who fits the definition is Mahomes and he's having to restructure every year so they can field a full team.
Very much the point. This off-season feels like the Vikings are trying to turn back time by signing Defense and letting go Cousins, after they thought he was the missing piece in 2017. Funny enough they made the Championship game twice with the post-Culpepper QB-carousel, but only won one Playoff game with Kirk.
I wouldn't have minded him staying, but only at discount, he's 36 now, not that many years left for him anyway and the roster as it was with him wasn't making deep runs any time soon.
Gotta say though, it's hilarious how suddenly everyone and their uncle wants to pretend like they didn't shittalk Cousins during his whole time as a Viking. Suddenly he's good enough to turn the Falcons into contenders. lol

Kirk Cousins managed to get paid again, 4 years 180 million, 100 guaranteed.
this time with the Falcons and considering that contract I am not all that sad to see him go.
Vikings already using the savings on Defense.

Funny because I always think of lavs as the isles coach And he hasn’t been there in ages.
I had the most time to watch Rangers games late at night between the 2010 and 2014 seasons, he was on the Flyers for most of that, same as Torts was with us. Plus the Rangers/Flyers TV build-up for the Winter Classic.

Laviolette is the best coach they've had since.
It's been over a decade and it still feels like the Coaches went to the wrong bench, every time we play the Flyers this season.

Certainly not losing hope just yet. He could still be hampered by injury, or just having a bad year. This has not been a great year for goaltending around the league. Or maybe just the offense is getting better, who knows. My main worry is that he's peaked already.
I didn't really pay attention in the offseason, did they change the rules about Goalie equipment again or something?

and that’s why you didn’t turn the game off.
I did, cause my stream kept dying on me anyway, they immediately started playing better. lol They usually do these past 2 years.

yh, we all have been dissappointed with the way the Coyotes are run for the past 20 years or so.

Bills Fans can't escape the wide right Kicks it seems. Brutal loss once again.
-
I would laugh harder at the Cowboys if they weren't playing Green Bay, but this ist just pathetic.
-
Yh, if he's going back to Europe he won't play in the regular season anymore I think.
-
The worst thing to happen to the Vikings this season (not counting Cousins injury) is Josh Dobbs winning his first two games and giving us false hope, so now the football gods are just piling on injuries to make a point.

Is there a franchise that folds like a cheap accordion as often as the Chargers? Forget the Browns and Lions, they usually suck, but they are just a special kind of soft.
I call them the AFC Vikings, because Vikings sure as hell pull off the same BS again and again, case in point the Vikings - Chargers game earlier this year, which was a masterclass in both teams trying to choke the game away and the Vikings succeeding.
As they did again today, they dominated the Bengals for 3 Quarters and then just folded like the mentioned accordion.
The Bengals even were so nice to hand them the game on a platter in OT and they were like "no thanks, we try the tush push a wimpy Backup QB pushed by a tiny 4th string Receiver on Inches to go for a new 1st. TWICE. Don't think about using your RB that ran for over 100 Yards in that game.
So pissed, 7-7 with tons of injuries´and this team still is the one beating itself.

He still can't pitch until 2025 at the earliest. Still is a bit of a gamble. Wild that some teams are throwing the boat at him. It's only a matter of time before he only hits. Still a premier hitter for sure though.
I wonder how much they can sell to Japan, Ohtani is a god over there.
So might actually work, financially at least.

Except they aren't.
October (9 GP): GF - 12 (tied 26th)
November (10 GP): GF - 25 (tied 13th)
VAN is 5th this month with 29 in 3 more GP. With the Rangers scoring 2.5 5v5 GPG you'd expect they'd be top 5 in the league if they played the same amount of games.
So there's a positive trend then, that is nice. I was just looking at Phils numbers I think.
-
Not worried about the regular season at all, but how the way they play will eventually translate to the Playoffs, especially considering they are still struggeling at 5v5.

Fear of the woke response of cultural appropriation......bizarre because it is apparently his wife's heritage he was paying homage to during Native American Heritage Month......overreaction to nothing. Kind of like the pride tape on the sticks. Who cares....
Wasn't it because they made it a rule that no one can wear anything now, so they won't have to talk about players refusing to wear "pride" gear? I don't think fear of a woke response had anything to do with it in this case.

I don't think I've ever seen a Pick-6 on a Hail Mary attempt.

Big win considering how bad we usually are in afternoon games, or at least feels like we always are lol
I feel like we tend to win those more often than not and they've been the games I've been able to watch (during regular season) over the past few years.
-
That seemed offsides from the get go, would have been nice to get a better replay though.

Mika really should get a Tattoo that says "to jumpstart scoring, play the Flyers"
