  1. I hated every minute of that series. My hatred for the Islanders vs. my hatred of anything Boston. There were no winners here.

I'm even more disgusted in watching how the Islanders just seem like a team built for playoff success. Tough on the puck, absolute pain in the ass to play against, but disciplined as hell.. It's maddening.

All that being said, Tampa will apply pressure no one else in the East is able to do. I bet it goes 6 or even 7, but the sheer depth in Tampa wins out. I can only hope for several agonizing/dick punch losses for the Islanders

Same here I dislike both teams, but wanted the Bruins in this one.

I truly hope that Tampa does take, but won't be easy and was hoping the Bruins/Isles series would've went 7.

    :) yes please
  2. I was just coming to post something similar.

Even on the fouls that are actually "cheap" fouls, the Knicks are not getting their moneys worth. They need to make it hurt for Trae Young to drive to the net. If you're going to foul him...FOUL him.

Ultimately, though, the Knicks offense is stagnant with 4 other guys standing around hoping Randle can beat double teams and what not. A lot of credit to the Hawks defense. They've exposed how little talent the Knicks actually have.

Watching Randle get the ball and everyone standing around around reminded me of the Carmello Anthony days. As for Young, he'd be on the floor every time he went to the net under the Pat Reilly days.

  3. Really loving the grittiness of this team. Hopefully they don't lose that when everyone starts getting healthy

Awesome moment seeing Pillar back and getting a hit in his first at bat, that guys such a gamer

Got to wonder what was going through his mind when he got up there. Love the grittiness also and it's coming from different players which is awesome

  4. The Mets roster is a disaster right now and Lindor has been awful so far. I've heard some Mets fans call him the next Carlos Baerga. LOL They better hope not. Baerga was bad here but they didn't sign him to a ten year deal either.

He's been bad hitting glad his fielding hasn't suffered, but he needs to hit. Nice to see deGrom back out there pitching and he looked good.

  5. I read it once and right away Player C is Messier. I thought about Graves making a comment, but he's part of MSG and I don't think he'd get in on the debate.

I generally like the team. It’s just that you need to add a veteran presence that has strong leadership, and you would need … at least one solid guy who plays with an edge on the top two lines. You thought (Chris) Kreider was going to be that, but he doesn’t seem to … he’s inconsistent in that role. And that’s why, when you look at there’s no captain, well, there’s no captain material. There really wasn’t. You’re not going to name Zibanejad (captain) just because he’s a good player. You don’t make him a captain because he often, in a physical game, he looks afraid. How many guys look afraid in a physical game? It’s pretty obvious. I mean, the only one who really stood out was (Brendan) Smith. He really played that role and he embraced it. He kicked it up a notch this year. … Other than that? (Ryan) Lindgren played hard.

And his comment on Zibby OUCH afraid

  6. I’ve weaned myself away from sugar with coffee. I also used to have a tablespoon of honey over my soaked groats for breakfast. Skip that now. I slowly kept reducing my use of those sugars over time to where now, the thought of that sweet is unappealing.

Frank I did away from sugar years ago from my coffee and it was painful and I try to always to stay away from sugar, but it's in everything it's so tough.

  7. Brutal incidental headshot to Tavares. Looked like a season ender to me. Looked like Perry's knee uppercut him square in the chin. Obvious bad concussion, and would be surprised if his jaw wasn't shattered.

He looked like he didn’t know where he was and that was a nasty hit to his head. Foligno goes right at Perry right away.
