No - and only because we gave up a shorthanded goal on a f'n four minute powerplay....in game that was already tight.

Panarin at least looks to me like he has more jump than in the pitt series. There was one play last night though where he skated with the puck right into the slot, with nothing but blue skies in between him and the goalie...and he f'n passed it to nowhere. I honestly couldn't believe it. I mean being biased towards playmaking is one thing, but hes playing like a caricature of himself at this point. Injury seems like a possability for sure...but the guy has to f'n shoot regardless.

as tempting as it is to scapegoat a panarin, fox etc. this is about the rangers as a whole having a style of play and energy level that is unimpressive. its hard for any individual player to produce when the unit as a whole is slow and lifeless.

Doubt a timeout would have made a difference. We had a full 15 minute timeout before OT, and it looked like the Canes were pretty much going to be dominating the rest of the way out if they didn't finish it.

Truth is, I'd be pretty concerned we barely see anything close to the first two periods of last night, and the Canes continue to dominate.

It's almost as if the Rangers tried to lose last series, and couldn't. And they have very little pressure on them to move past the canes.  They're in a good spot.

how the rangers won this series it an absolute mystery...they looked down and out over and over and over...and just continuously found the back of the net out of nowhere...

love the energy for sure.   my hope would be that Fox still has another level and can potentially carry the team on his back for a few seasons, maybe a C helps push him in that direction

the assists are cute and all...but this season, and this series in particular, show we need panarin to be more of a goal scoring threat. he certainly has the capability.

oh...and maybe lindgren was more valuable than we appreciated.
