The Xbox One, described by Don Mattrick, president of the Interactive Entertainment Business for Microsoft, was designed and built "as an all-in-one system to align games, TV and entertainment." rvbcaboose
Although i should be studying, ill try and summarize everything we know. Hardware 500 GB HDD 8 Gigs of RAM Blu Ray Wi-Fi Features New Kinect, needed to function Xbox One Newer, sleeker controller Runs on a version of Windows 8? Game Recording available some sort of DVR like device Live TV, lots of entertainment ESPN, Skype, and a few other apps Games EA is partnering with Microsoft, shows off new sport games FIFA 14, NBA LIVE, New Madden, UFC Call of Duty Ghosts, what a shocker A new Halo TV show directed by Steven Spielberg Forza 5, available on Launch No backwards compatibility as of yet, but an add-on device for that is rumored to be out there No always on internet Games are DLed to HDD, are connected to your profile In order to connect a game to another profile, a fee must me paid (unknown $$$). Possible used game retaliation? Might add more after my final, depending on what we get.

rvbcaboose
That's kind of bullshit. What if you bring a game to a friend/relative's? Most likely you would have to use the cloud and download your profile to that persons Xbox. Then you would be able to play whatever game you brought. Morphinity 2.0
I wonder what this EA relationship means. I really only use my PS3 for NHL, so would I be getting a shittier version of the game if I don't get it on the Xbox One?

EA is pushing FIFA and Madden real hard, so its possible NHL will stay the same.
Morphinity 2.0
I wish NHL got some love. The game is utter shit and was really hoping that "next gen" would be a good time for a refresh.

Pretty lame that they only get a year of Xbox live.
