This series was not as close as 7 games would seem to indicate. Hope the Bolts really take it to them due to rest disparity on Monday. They really need to take advantage of that early while they can.

1st thing that comes to mind, Lightning/Rangers Game 7. Offense was non-existent that game. Rangers had 11 shots on goal the 1st 2 periods.

100%. AV is a nice guy. But his teams in playoff games go dead offensively often. Spare a very lucky 2nd OT goal in game 6 they did almost nothing offensively in these last 2 games. Does seem his offensive plan is predicated on passing around the perimeter waiting for the perfect open guy to take the shot. And in playoff games you simply don't get that much of a chance. Every pass is another chance for things to go sideways.How many times this series and with NYR have you seen an AV PP get zero or 1 shot?

The Canucks only managed 14 shots in their entire lacklustre Game 7 performance. You'd think these teams would be a lot more amped up than that, but neither PHI or VAN bothered showing up.
