Phil
Honestly, I'm not thinking about it. I'm just enjoying the fact we have sports on.
josh
I had a pretty important conference call. I was mainly focused on the game and completely missed some shit.

Sent from my Z981 using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk A little. I still think they should have been bubbled 14 days prior to competing against other teams. Keirik
I feel like I’m watching the olympics I get that same feel. I think it’s the no fans. Almost makes the rink feel bigger.
Morphinity 2.0
The game felt very blah. A bit sloppy and not fast paced. Obviously there's no fans, but the noise they did pump in just made it sound like it was a dead Tuesday night in January vs. an out-of-conference opponent. Hope there's a bit more pop in the Leafs/Habs and Oilers/Flames games tonight.

I imagine the Canadian games tonight will be very much the same, until they start playing meaningful games.
Karan
Is the noise pumped into the arena? Or over broadcast for the fans? Was wondering the same thing. Feel like it's added into the TV broadcast. If it was pumped into the area I think it would have a weird echo which we'd pick up on the broadcast.
Karan
This is likely to be the highest ever TV ratings for an NHL exhibition game eh?

Bad decision IMO. Would rather hear music.
Blue Heaven
Twitter shenanigans in the bubble :tweet: @pastrnak96 In my opinion Tom Wilson is the best goal scorer in the league
Gravesy
Sort of half watched the Oilers v Flames game. It was all right tbh, had a bit of pop to it. I imagine it's going to be similar to the Premier League, where in the beginning you go "fuck me, this is shit" and the you just get used to it. Morphinity 2.0
The Oilers/Flames game definitely was the best of the bunch. There was physical play and chippiness. Plus McDavid continued to be godlike while not even looking like he was trying.
Gravesy
If they can get even average goaltending I've got the Oilers down as the darkest of dark horses. The one-two punch of McDavid/Draisaitl is unlike anything else in the league, and that can carry you far in a setup like this where there is little run-up, defending will be rusty etc. And that power play is pure filth. Karan
Really looking forward to the EDM-CHI series. Let's see how many points the "Power Play Points" duo rack up today.
Karan
Money. Only takes 1:06 of PP time for the Oilers to strike. McDavid...who else.
Karan
STROMER! Followed by a PPG by Captain Boring.
